The payment gateway industry is dominated today by three providers. All three emerged in the late 90's when ecommerce came of age. For those of you who were working on payments then, you'll notice that not much has changed with their offerings in over 10 years.

We're a fresh face and a web 2.0 payments company. We think differently and do things differently. We're still very small compared to the three largest providers, and that's fine. We're not interested in trying to become the largest; we're interested in becoming the best. Our goal is to become the undisputed, #1 preferred payments provider by developers.

We want to alleviate the pain that typically accompanies payment processing. We want to help you make more money and be more secure.

We think there is a parallel between the payments and mobile space: it's no longer the processing network that creates value; it's the applications on top of the network. In the payments space that means ease of integration, API structure, minimization of PCI compliance and secure credit card storage, recurring billing, decline recovery and global payments.

We have some other ideas that we think will provide significant value to merchants, and those will be launched in the coming months and years. Until then, we hope we can earn your trust, deliver the value you're looking for, and refine the solutions that best serve the dramatically changing online payments industry.
