Case Study: B2B Software Provider

This Level 1 Service Provider currently provides a software solution to more than 11,000 businesses worldwide. A critical part of their solution is the ability to accept and store credit card information.

The Service Provider’s challenge was to achieve and maintain PA-DSS Compliance so that their customers could continually accept credit cards in a compliant manner and eliminate the risk of being required to store the data in their local environment. Needing a highly customized and flexible solution, they selected Braintree.

Braintree’s unique solutions entirely eliminated the ‘handling, processing and storage’ of credit card data, yet didn’t compromise any functionality or change user experience. Working with Visa’s PCI Compliance Group, this Level 1 Service Provider was able to achieve PA-DSS Compliance by leveraging Braintree’s solutions.
