We're excited to announce that we're very close to opening our doors globally! We'll soon be entering a private beta with a full launch expected later this year. Support for local, non-credit card payment methods will be added in the coming year, as will expansion into additional countries.
Merchants of all sizes domiciled in 30 countries will be able to access the same Braintree solutions that are available in the U.S including a merchant account, payment gateway, recurring billing, and vault credit card storage.
Today in the U.S., we work with many of the fastest growing and most reputable technology companies around, and we're eager to start doing the same with others throughout the world.
Our goal has always been to make accepting credit card payments for developers easy, robust and secure, and we can't wait to get started internationally.
